Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd (Komatsu) – ‘Three Steps to the Ultimate Trip (Promotion)

Terms & Conditions:

1) Komatsu is offering the opportunity to go into the draw to win a trip to Japan for two (2) people to attend a Komatsu Factory tour by:
i. becoming a premium online account holder on myKomatsu via https://my.komatsu.com.au/
ii. activating myFleet access; and
iii. placing an order, via myKomatsu, equal to or greater than $300 (excl GST) between 1 February 2026 and 31 March 2026 (Promotion Period).
(Eligible Entry).

2) Only one (1) Eligible Entry per premium online account.

3) There is one (1) prize to be won, with a total estimated prize pool of approximately $20,000. Prize inclusions are set out in Table 1 below:

4) The estimated Prize value is based on supplier quotes obtained in January 2026 for travel during the Prize travel window (if applicable). The actual value may vary depending on travel dates, seasonal pricing, availability and other factors outside the Promoter’s control. The winner is not entitled to any cash difference between the estimated Prize value and the actual Prize value.

5) The winner’s nearest capital city airport is determined by the Promoter based on the winner’s residential address.

6) Prize inclusions are strictly limited to those set out in Table 1. All other costs and expenses associated with taking the Prize are the responsibility of the winner and their companion. Without limitation, the winner and companion are responsible for: passports, visas, vaccinations/medical requirements, travel to and from the departure airport, spending money, meals not included in the itinerary, minibar/room service, hotel incidentals, baggage fees in excess of the airline’s standard allowance, and any additional activities not expressly included in Table 1.

7) The Prize must be taken on the travel dates nominated by Komatsu (acting reasonably) and notified to the winner. The winner and their nominated travel companion must be available to travel on those dates. If the winner is unable or unwilling to travel on the nominated dates, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and Komatsu may award the prize to an alternative eligible entrant in accordance with these terms and conditions.

8) Komatsu may determine (in its discretion) the travel itinerary, including flight routing and accommodation, and the travel dates cannot be changed or substituted at the winner’s request.

9) The winner and their nominated travel companion are responsible for ensuring they meet all travel requirements including, but not limited to, holding valid passports, visas (if required), health, immigration, security or other travel and entry requirements.

10) Travel insurance provided by Komatsu is standard leisure travel insurance as determined by Komatsu. The winner should consider additional cover if required after assessing their individual circumstances. A copy of the travel insurance policy will be made available to the winner upon request.

11) The draw will be conducted as a computerised random draw from all Eligible Entries using a randomisation tool at Komatsu Fairfield Head Office, located at 50-60 Fairfield Street, Fairfield East, NSW 2165, on 1 April 2026 at 12:00pm (AEST). Electronic draw logs will be kept for 12 months and made available to regulators on request. The winner must accept the Prize by 9 April 2026 (AEST).

12) The individual winners will be notified by email within two (2) business days of the draw, and their surname, first initial and postcode will be published on Komatsu’s website for at least 28 days from 3 April 2026.

13) The winner is not required to pay any fee to Komatsu to accept the Prize. However, the winner and companion are responsible for all costs not expressly included in Table 1.

14) In the event of an unclaimed prize, a redraw will be conducted as a computerised random draw from all Eligible Entries using a randomisation tool at Komatsu Fairfield Head Office, located at 50-60 Fairfield Street, Fairfield East, NSW 2165, on 10 April 2026 at 12:00pm (AEST) The winners of the redraw, if any, will be notified by email within two (2) business days of the draw, and their surname, first initial and postcode will be published on Komatsu’s website for at least 28 days from 10 April 2026 (AEST).

15) In accepting a prize, the prize winner agrees to participate in any publicity arrangements made by or on the behalf of Komatsu. Prize winners further acknowledge and agree that Komatsu has the right to publicise their name, the State or Territory in which the winner ordinarily resides, photograph, likeness and/or voice in any language and in any media (whether now known or later devised) throughout the world in perpetuity without restriction in respect of this Promotion and any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by Komatsu, without any payment being made to them.

16) The Promotion and Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash.

17) The Promotion and Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion and is only available in Australia.

18) If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of Komatsu, Komatsu may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.

19) In the event that any part of the Promotion becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond Komatsu’s reasonable control, Komatsu reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original products, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation. No other changes will be made after the Promotion commences, except as required by law or with prior regulator approval (where applicable).

20) Komatsu may vary the itinerary (acting reasonably) due to supplier/operational constraints. No compensation beyond what is provided by suppliers will be offered to the winner.

21) Individuals are not eligible for the Promotion if they are a director, manager or employee of Komatsu, or an agency of Komatsu directly associated with the Promotion, or if they are an immediate family member of such director, manager or employee.

22) By entering, each entrant warrants that they have obtained all necessary internal approvals to participate and, if selected, accept the Prize. Komatsu may require evidence of such approval. If approval is not provided within a reasonable period, the entrant, or winner, will be deemed ineligible and the Prize may be awarded to an alternative eligible entrant.

23) Nothing in the terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Komatsu (and its agencies) excludes all liability to any loss, damage, delay or loss of opportunity arising in connection with the Promotion or any Prize (including, to the extent permitted by law, any indirect or consequential loss).

24) Personal information is collected to administer the promotion and contact winners in accordance with Komatsu’s Australian Privacy policies located at https://www.komatsu.com.au/pages/policies/privacy-policy
